A South African movie filmed in George last year has won the award for the best full-length feature film at the Sabaoth International Film Festival in Milan, Italy.
Movie director, Frans Cronje, says Born to Win was not made to win awards but to inspire people.
He said the Film Festival is the one of the most recognised Christian film festivals in the world.
Cronje said they also won a People's Choice Award at the 2006 festival for the movie Faith like Potatoes.
George executive mayor, Charles Standers, said it was an honour and privilege for his city to be involved with the award-winning movie.
