George detectives are searching for three men who robbed the Blanco Superette in George Rd, Blanco at closing time on Sunday night.
Southern Cape police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, told AlgoaFM news that three men wielding firearms threatened the store owner and two employees and forced them to lie on the ground.
The robbers fled in the store owners car with cellphones and an undisclosed amount of money.
The car was later found by police abandoned on the R102 outside George.
Anyone who may have information on the incident is asked to contact the SAPS at George.
