Road update from the Kouga area:

1) OYSTER BAY: Both the St Francis and Humansdorp roads to Oyster Bay are closed due to the heavy rain. The alternative route would be via Tandjieskraal.

2) ST FRANCIS: The Sand River bridge to St Francis is open to traffic but motorists are asked to drive carefully. There is a lot of activity at the site - this is the contractor clearing the pipes of sand and debris to minimise the rise of the water level.

3) J-BAY: The planned power outage to sections of Jeffreys Bay has had to be postponed due to the bad weather. The new date will be advertised once finalised.
