ELECTRICITY RESTORED TO CITY
While electricity was restored to the affected areas of the city last night (August, 11 2012), residents are alerted to the fact that if any household or street is still experiencing a power failure to please report this to the municipal emergency numbers on 041 506 5595 or 041 374 4434.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is aware that a small pocket of residents in the Perridgevale area currently does not have electricity. This is due to a failure at the small Kestellhof substation. The problem is being investigated and power will be restored as soon as possible.
