Road closed following head- on collision near Nanaga

The N2 between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown has been closed due to a serious accident near Nanaga.

Police spokesperson, Captain Milanda Coetzer, says two cars collided head-on.

She said a short while ago that they were awaiting the arrival of a helicopter to take two critically injured people to hospital.

Motorists travelling between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown have been advised to use the alternative route via Paterson and then link up again with the N2 with the gravel road.
