Three suspects charged with the murder of a man in Central, have abandoned their bid for bail in the Port Elizabeth Magistrates court.
Twenty-six-year-old Clyde Byrns died after being stabbed in the neck earlier this month when he chased after three people who had stolen his girlfriend's handbag in Rink Street.
The incident happened after the couple had withdrawn money from an ATM.
During court proceedings on Monday, 24-year old Angelina Job, 22-year old Donovan Swartz and 28-year old Sithembele Jonas did not continue with a formal bail application because none of them have a fixed address.
Magistrate Abigail Beaton postponed the mater to the 10th September and all three will remain in custody.
