Eastern Cape police are offering a reward of up to R50 000 for information which may lead to the arrest and prosecution of those behind the murder of East London businessman, Siphiwo Nyobo.
Provincial police spokesperson, Captain Khaya Tonjeni, said that the 55-year-old football club owner was gunned down by three men while leaving the North End Stadium on 2 March 2019.
“The suspects then fled from the scene in a VW Polo with an unknown registration number,” he said.
Tonjeni added that investigators were unable to obtain information on the get-away vehicle or the whereabouts of the suspects and were now appealing to the public for help.
