It has been over two years since a pregnant woman was killed at a chalet at the Hluleka Nature reserve on the Wild Coast and still no arrests have been made.
Police have now offered a R100 000 reward for information that could lead to a break and prosecution in the case.
The 33-year-old Karen Turner, who was two months pregnant was at the holiday resort with her husband Matthew and their two-year-old son, when two assailants allegedly entered their chalet.
The family who hails from Kwazulu Natal was on holiday during September of 2019.
Karen sustained several stab wounds and died at the scene while her husband was stabbed in the stomach and rushed to hospital for surgery in Mthatha.
The husband told family members after surgery that he saw two intruders in the room.
The couple's son who was with them in the chalet was unharmed.
Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the investigating team has gathered evidence and taken statements from all witnesses as to the events that unfolded on the night, however efforts in tracing th suspects fail to produce any positive results and therefore a reward is now on offer.
Police are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder.
