The family of slain PE model, Reeva Steenkamp says they will attend the trial of the man accused of killing their daughter.
The trial of the 27 year old blade runner Oscar Pistorius will start on the 3rd of March in the Pretoria High Court.
A year ago on Valentines Day, South AFricans were shocked when the news broke that one of the countries biggest and most beloved sport stars had been arrested for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp at his home in Pretoria.
Reeva's parents said in a statement, released through their lawyer a short while ago, that they're looking for closure and to know that their daughter did not suffer on that tragic Valentines Day.
Reeva frequently spoke out against domestic violence and intended to one day open an establishment where abused women would be cared for.
Once the trial is over, the family intends to start a foundation for the poor and abused, in Reeva's honour.
