Rapist caught with his pants down, sentenced to 6 years

 A Butterworth regional court magistrate has sentenced 27 year old Fundisile Zweni to six years in jail for sexually assaulting a 56 year old woman.

Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, says Zweni was convicted and sentenced yesterday for the attack in June last year in a village near Dutywa.

He says after the 56-year-old victim managed to escape Zweni's clutches, she alerted community members who found him asleep in her house with his pants on his knees.

Zweni managed to evade police but was arrested the following day.
