An Eastern Cape school principal charged with rape and sexual assault has been released on bail of R1000.
Provincial police spokesperson, major Ernest Sigobe, says police opposed the bail application which was heard on Monday.
The 51-year-old man faces charges related to the sexual assault of two 15-year-old girls and the rape of a 19-year- old schoolgirl.
The incident allegedly occurred in February while they were returning from a school sporting event in Qunu.
He will be back in court again on the 12th of July.
