Port Elizabeth police are investigating the murder of a man who was killed after being accused of raping a woman.
Spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said 20-year-old Uyema September was found in a street in Kwanoxolo on Saturday morning.
She said he succumbed to his injuries later in hospital.
“The community accused him of raping a 57-year-old woman from Kwanoxlo on Friday.”
No arrests were made but police have opened a murder docket.
