Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of business robbery after 500 brand new cellphones were stolen from a cellphone company in Cape Road.
Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the stolen phones have a street value of more than R1 million.
She says three men broke into the store at around 10 pm on Wednesday.
They made off with a range of cellphones including iPhones, Huawei P30's and P40's, Samsungs and LGs.
Police are urging the community not to buy any suspected stolen property.
They’re further encouraging anyone with information on the incident to contact their nearest police station.
