Queenstown retail store gutted by fire

The Jet stores outlet in Queenstown has been razed to the ground by a fire.

Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Phumzile Makaula, says the blaze started at around two o'clock on Thursday morning.

She says no-one was injured and damage is estimated at about R3m.

The cause of the fire is not known and police have opened an arson docket.
