Shipping enthusiasts in Port Elizabeth are in for a treat on Monday when the huge ocean liner, the Queen Mary Two, is due to dock in port.
PE Port Control says the 345-metre ship is expected at eight o'clock in the morning.
Weighing in at over 148-000 tons, the 17-deck Queen Mary 2 has around 1 250 crew members and is capable of carrying more than 2 600 passengers.
It was christened by Queen Elizabeth the 2nd in January 2004, and is currently the flagship of the Cunard line.
The Queen Mary 2 is currently on a world cruise and will depart for Cape Town Monday evening, from where it will make its way to Southampton on the coast of the English Channel.
