Eastern Cape MEC for Rural Development, Mlibo Qoboshiyane, is leading a delegation to Germany.
The group left on Sunday for Lower Saxony which has had a long-standing twinning agreement with the Eastern Cape.
Qoboshiyane says the delegation will be pursuing areas of cooperation contained in a earlier memorandum of understanding.
These include Agriculture and Food Production, Veterinary Services and Commercial Farming, among others.
Qoboshiyane says they will also study the development of the Agricultural Sector in the former East Germany with a view to exploring areas of mutual interest.
