Eastern Cape Police Commissioner, Lieutenant-General Celiwe Binta, has expressed her satisfaction with yesterday's arrest of two suspects in Port Elizabeth who were caught with drugs valued at R5m.
Binta says in a statement that police will pull out all the stops to combat drug smuggling in the province.
She also praised police members for their zest and determination which led to yesterday's arrest of a 42-year-old Nigerian and 31-year-old Zimbabwean.
The drugs, along with a large number of pirated DVDs were found in a car that was pulled over on the N2 near Motherwell yesterday.
