Protestors on the march to Mossel Bay municipality

Protesters were gathering in JCC Camp in Mossel Bay on Monday morning for a legal march to the Mossel Bay Municipality.
Residents of KwaNonqaba started protesting two weeks ago to show their dissatisfaction with what they call, poor service delivery.
The situation has still not been resolved, even though leaders of the community met with members from the Mossel Bay Municipality recently.
The agreement was to stop the protests, pending the outcome of the meeting
Protesters gathered in front of the Mossel Bay Municipality this past Friday demanding answers from the major and is continuing this protest on Monday. Leaders representing the
protesters are still not satisfied with the way the municipality is currently addressing their grievances.
They are unhappy about the shutdown of illegal electricity connections and poor toilet facilities in their area. There is a
strong police presence and Marshstreet is closed.
