Port Elizabeth police are searching for 4 armed men who robbed a Spar supermarket on Monday morning.
Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says two of the suspects held people in the store at gunpoint, and demanded that the safe be opened.
She says the suspects fled the scene shortly afterwards in a green Ford Telstar with an undisclosed amount of money.
Janse van Rensburg says the vehicle was reported stolen in Kabega Park earlier this month.
She says no shots were fired and no-one was injured.
