The wife of a Butterworth priest appeared in court on Wednesday with another man in connection with the murder of her husband, reverend Ongama Xuba.
Police captain Jackson Manatha, says 40-year-old Lungiswa Xuba and 40-year-old Vuyo Mehlo, appeared before the Butterworth magistrate court on a charge of murder.
Reverend Xuba was found stabbed to death in his Butterworth home in August.
Manatha says the accused were not asked to plead and were remanded in custody until their next court appearance in a week's time for a bail application.
Manatha says the court was filled with family and church members.
