Inquest docket opened after apparent suicide of farm worker

Southern Cape police have opened in inquest docket following the apparent suicide of a farm worker.
Police spokepserson, captain Bernadine Steyn, says the body of the 31 year old man was found by a farm worker in a deserted house in Waboomskraal with shoe laces around his neck.
She says its suspected that he committed suicide, however the circumstances of his death are being investigated.
Steyn says the incident followed the rape of his two year old daughter, which was reported to police on Monday night.
She says the rape is also still under investigation.
