President Zuma to hand over medals in Port Elizabeth

Fighter aircraft and helicopters will once again light up the sky in Port Elizabeth for the main event of Armed Forces week which comes to an end on Sunday.

The main event is a parade, which will see Marine Drive temporarily closed as President Jacob Zuma and several Cabinet Ministers will be joining the public to watch the 40 minute display.

President Zuma will deliver the main address and hand out medals to deserving SANDF members, and take a salute.

About a thousand members of the SANDF and over 100 vehicles and aircraft will take part in today's parade.
