President Cyril Ramaphosa says climate change is an issue that all South Africans must embrace and deal with more seriously than we've done in the past.
He was speaking at the Presidential launch of the Phakisa Chemical and Waste Outcomes at the International Convention Centre in East London on Friday.
Ramaphosa will also launch another government programme, the National ‘Good Green Deeds’ Environmental Awareness Programme at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium.
His visit to Buffalo City also took him to Claredon Primary School in East London where he met eight-year-old Daisy Ngedle, the schoolgirl who wrote a letter to him.
