The burnt body of an unknown man was found after what is suspected to be a vigilante killing by an unknown group in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, says he was found in a bushy area bordering Koliti street in Ikamvelihle, at about 4 pm on Thursday afternoon.
He says it is not known how many perpetrators were involved or what the motive was.
Beetge says Cluster Commander, Dawie Rabie, has strongly condemned this incident of mob justice.
He says the community should refrain from taking the law into their own hands and reminded those who take part in these attacks, that they too, will be charged with murder.
