Eastern Cape premier Noxolo Kiviet has released the names of the people who will serve on the provincial planning commission.
Its task will be to develop the Eastern Cape's vision 2030.
The Commission, of eight experts, is lead by Eastern Cape MEC for Provincial Planning and Finance, Pumulo Masualle, while the deputy chairperson is doctor Lulu Gwagwa.
The other members of the commission are VWSA boss, David Powels, Professor Nomfundo Luswazi of Walter Sisulu University, Nomkhita Mona of the Uitenhage Despatch Development initiative and businesswoman, Onwaba Mehloma-khulu.
The other Commission members are NMMU vice chancellor, professor Derek Swartz, education expert, Nglanganiso Dladla and professor Lizo Ebdel Mazwai.
