Two men who witnessed a robbery in Sidwell, Port Elizabeth, on Thursday morning followed three suspects and executed a citizen's arrest on two of them.
A traffic cop arrested the third.
Police spokesperson, Captain Stanley Jarvis, says the suspects robbed a business in Richard Street and made off with a small amount of money.
They were followed by the two men, who spoiled their day.
The suspects, aged between 20 and 30, will spend the long weekend in jail pending their first court appearance.
