The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa has issued a call for tenders for the upgrading of a number of stations in the Eastern Cape.
Four tenders have been called for phase five of the National Station Improvement Programme at busy stations in Buffalo City.
In Nelson Mandela Bay, Prasa has called for the same programme to be implemented at Redhouse, Perseverance, Despatch, Swartkops and New Brighton.
Tenders have also been requested in terms of the National Station Upgrade Programme for work on the Mariska Building in Port Elizabeth.
