Post mortem reveals PE woman was hit with blunt object

 A post mortem has revealed that a woman, who's body was found in bushes in Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth at the weekend, was hit by a blunt object.

Police spokesperson, Capt. Stanley Jarvis, says she sustained wounds to her head and face.

The victim was identified as 31-year old Linda Gerber from Algoapark in Port Elizabeth.

Her scooter was also found near her body.

DNA samples have been taken to determine if she was raped.

No arrests have yet been made.
