A 60-year-old man has been arrested at Port St Johns for possession of 64 bags of dagga.
Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela says the man was also found in possession of a shotgun, a rifle, two handguns and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition.
He said police were still investigating whether the man was working on his own or was part of group of drug traffickers.
All the items were discovered in one hut.
The suspect will appear in the Port St Johns Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
