Port Elizabeth police investigate attack at popular beer festival

Port Elizabeth police have confirmed that a case of assault is being investigated following an incident outside the premises of the German Club over the weekend.
Algoa FM News has learnt that a 23-year-old man is in serious condition in the high care neurology unit of a Port Elizabeth hospital.
He reportedly suffered a fractured skull and has bleeding on the brain.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says a second person suffered less serious injuries following an altercation after a beer festival.
Police are busy tracing the occupants of a vehicle seen speeding away from the scene in Lorraine.
