Police search for suspects involved in a gang-related crime

Police in Port Elizabeth are searching for six suspects wanted in connection with a gang-related shooting in Bethelsdorp on Wednesday night in which two children were injured.

Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says the men opened fire on a group of people standing outside a house in the Northern Areas suburb at about 18:30.

More than 20 shots were fired.

Labans say a 16 year-old girl was shot in the right leg and a 14 year-old boy was hit in the buttocks.
