Pedestrian killed near Jeffreys Bay

Police in Jeffreys Bay are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a man was killed by a vehicle on the N2.

Warrant officer Gerda Swart say the driver of a Mercedes bus was traveling from George to Grahamstown on Wednesday night.

Swart says the driver swerved when two men crossed the road in front of him near Kabeljous.

A man in his thirties was hit and died at the scene.

Police are appealing to anyone who can assist with the identification of the deceased to contact the Jeffreys Bay SAPS.
