Gqeberha police have released new photographs of missing Bay mom, Sylvia Wittal in the hopes of breathing new life into their investigation.
The 45-year-old was last spoken to on the 30th of December and a missing person's report was filed in January when her car was found abandoned at Schoenmakerskop.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says although they are investigating a missing person's report they have not ruled out suicide or foul play.
She says Wittal may have taken her late grandmother's ashes with her in a small container.
It is also alleged that she left home with a blue backpack with the words Iron Kids written on it.
Naidu says Wittal also has a distinctive tattoo on her arm.
