Somerset East police are investigating the murder of a 58-year-old man who succumbed to burn wounds in hospital.
Spokesperson, Captain Bradley Rawlinson, said Amos Spogter, died in the Andries Vosloo hospital on Sunday.
He said he sustained 3rd degree burns to his body after his shack in Dahlia Street burned down.
Rawlinson said Somerset East Detectives will be investigating a murder case, adding that no arrests have yet been made.
