Police have increased the reward for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspects behind the murders of three learners from the Great Brak River Secondary School to R30 000.
In the first incident the body of the 15 year old Elouise Witbooi was found in October last year near the school in Great Brak River. It is still unclear as to what caused her death due to the fact that her body was too decomposed.
In April this year, the 17-year-old Lesley Ann Maya was found among reeds in Power Town, near Little Brak River.
She was missing for eight days before her body was found barely 300 meters away from her home.
A month later, the 15-year-old Bonique Jansen was found dead in the same neighbourhood underneath bushes. She was missing for ten days.
An autopsy has shown that both Maya and Jansen were strangled.
No arrests have been maid and police are following up on all leads.
