Knysna detectives have appealed for help from the public in tracking down crocodile leather items stolen from a store on Thesen Island
Police spokesperson, captain Bernadine Steyn, says handbags, wallets and belts valued at around R500, 000 were stolen from the shop last Friday.
She says the initial "investigation suggests that three men and a woman visited the shop in the vicinity earlier in the day."
Steyn says any person with information or knowledge about the stolen goods should contact investigating officer, Warrant Officer Johan Burmeister on 044-302 6652
