Police management say they're confident that the unrest in Booysens Park in Port Elizabeth will not flare up again.
Provincial police spokesperson, brigadier Marinda Mills, said school attendance and public transport returned to normal in the area on Friday.
Mills says five of the 21 suspects arrested since Tuesday appeared in court on Friday where they were remanded in custody until next week for a formal bail application.
She says the remaining 16 suspects have already appeared in court earlier this week and were released on warning.
