Eastern Cape police say they will be keeping a close eye on the kudu hunting season which opens on Sunday the First of July.
Police spokesperson, captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, says hunters must adhere to the 2012 Hunting Proclamation for the Eastern Cape.
She says there will be roadblocks held at various points by the Stock Theft Units as well as Nature Conservation Enforcement officers to police the Game Theft Act, Stock Theft Act as well as the hunting proclamation.
