Police arrest colleague in Somerset East

Police have arrested one of their colleagues in Somerset East for allegedly being in posession of suspected stolen property.

Warrant Officer Kilian says fifteen bags of cement, believed to have been stolen earlier, were found in the police constable's posession.

He was arrested on Monday morning and is being detained in the local police cells.

Kilian says he will appear in court soon.
