Eastern Cape police are continuing the search for five suspects following last night's murder of 70-year-old Jansenville farmer, Owen Charles.
He was stabbed to death and his wife seriously injured when five assailants broke into their farmstead on Sunday.
Police spokesperson, warrant-officer Rieno Kilian, says the attackers took a number of firearms before fleeing in Charles's bakkie, which is still missing.
He says its a white Isuzu Frontier with distinctive white wheel rims and the registration number CTY 101 EC.
Kilian says forensic experts are still at the scene, combing for clues.
