Police appeal for witnesses after horror crash claims 3 lives

Addo police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following a head-on collision on Monday night in which two children and an adult were killed.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Marianette Olivier, identified the deceased as 34 year old Phillip Nel, 9 month old Minke Nel and 3 year old Duane Potgieter.

She says Nel's fiance, Esmare Gerber, is in a serious condition in hospital.

Olivier says Nel's vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a bakkie, who's two occupants were also seriously injured.

Police have appealed to any witnesses to the horror accident to contact Sergeant Chantelle Grundling at the Addo police.
