The Eastern Cape government will be hosting a conference on renewable energy this week.
The conference, which will be run in conjunction with the European Union, takes place in East London from Wednesday.
An EU delegation arrived in the province on Monday and will visit various EU funded projects ahead of the two-day conference.
The conference aims to raise awareness of renewable energy opportunities in the Eastern Cape, showcase existing projects and partnerships, and identify opportunities and obstacles for renewable energy in the province.
