A group of Plettenberg Bay residents plan to gather at the local magistrate's court on Thursday to honour eight-year-old Sesona Bayibile who was murdered on the outskirts of the town earlier this month.
This, as the 18-year-old murder suspect is set to make his second court apperaance since his arrest last Tuesday.
Garden Route media reports that not only will residents be wearing black to show respect for the little girl, but they will also use the court appearance to take a stand against violence against children.
Nolama Candani handed himself over to Knysna police two days after Sesona went missing and showed officers where her body was hidden. She was stabbed to death.
The little girl was last seen playing with friends near their home in Bossiegif on December 8th and was reported missing by her mother at midnight.
The suspect handed himself over to police the following day.
