Plenty of jobs at planned Coega tank farm.

Construction of a new tank farm in the Coega Industrial Development Zone is expected to create between 400 and 1 600 employment opportunities.

Metrominute reports that the tank farm will be built and operated by Oiltanking Grindrod Calulo.

The Final Basic Assessment Report for the R5.6 billion project has been submitted to the Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism.

The Report says that potentially some of the employees at the Port Elizabeth Harbour tank farm will be transferred to Coega once the PE facility has been decommissioned.
