A man delivering medication to customers was allegedly hijacked in Commercial road in Sidwell, Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old complainant who is a driver for a pharmacy in Baywest Mall, was busy dropping of medication when he was approached by a man who stood next to him and pointed a firearm at him.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the driver was instructed to get into the passenger side when another man, also armed, jumped into the vehicle.
The suspect drove off with the victims seated in the middle of the Nissan NP200 bakkie.
She says they drove to an alley somewhere in New Brighton where they opened the back looking for parcels.
They then left with some packets of medication.
The driver first went back to his employer and then opened a case of hijacking at the police station.
