Pedestrian killed in Port Elizabeth

Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of culpable homicide, after a pedestrian was hit by a car in North End on Saturday morning.

Spokesperson, WO Alwin Labans says a 52-year old woman, driving a Chevrolet Spark, hit the 45-year old man on the corner of Mount Rd and Harrower Rd while he was trying to cross the street.

He says the unknown man died at the scene.
