Port Elizabeth police have opened a murder docket, following the death of a 46-year-old woman at her Motherwell home on Thursday evening.
Police spokesperson, Capt. Andre Beetge says four suspects knocked at Bukeka Sigungqa's home in Mpheko Street, and when she opened the door, she was shot 13 times.
He says 26-year-old daughter was also wounded in the leg and arm during the shooting, and taken to hospital.
"The motive for the attack has not been established, and anyone with information, is asked to contact the nearest police station, or call 08600 10111", Beetge said.
