PE woman killed in head-on collision

Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of culpable homocide, after a woman was killed in a head-on collision on the M4 highway near the Albany Road offramp in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police Captain, Johan Rheeder says a Toyota Camry with 5 people apparently ended up on the wrong side of the highway, and collided head-on with an oncoming Ford Fiesta near the main post office building.

He says a 30-year old woman, who was a passenger in the Ford, died instantly.
