Port Elizabeth police are appealing to the public for information on the murder of a woman from Motherwell whose car was also burnt out.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, confirmed today that the body of 56-year-old Ntombizanele Mazomba, was found in bushes near Mpenzu Street in Unit 7 on Saturday.
She had sustained multiple stab wounds. Naidu says her burnt out Nissan Micra was found close by.
Mazomba was last seen on Friday by her son.
The circumstances of and motive for the murder are not yet known.
