A 40-year-old man is expected to appear in the New Brighton Magistrates court in Port Elizabeth on Friday, where he will be charged for raping a teenager at knifepoint.
The suspect was arrested on Wednesday, a day after he allegedly raped an 18-year-old girl.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the teenager was walking around in Vuku Street, New Brighton, where she was looking for work as a domestic worker.
She says the suspect allegedly told the victim that his sister might need help with their sick mother.
Colonel Naidu says the man then took her to his flat where he allegedly raped her at knifepoint.
The victim managed to escape and reported the matter immediately.
